Wallpapers

• Check that the rolls are in accordance with the order, that all
rolls are undamaged and have the same serial number. Also check on
the front of the label if the relevant wallpaper is possibly to be reversed.

• Choose an STB-approved glue (see front page).

• Underlay, glue and wallpaper must maintain normal room temperature, approx. 18 degrees.

• The substrate must be dry, clean and free of dust and old loose wallpaper. Shiny surfaces must be sanded with sandpaper. Painted surfaces are washed with soda and rinsed well with clean water. Strongly absorbent substrates are pre-glued or primed. Primer painting should be carried out in case of large color differences in the substrate, for example in the case of puttyed joints on a dark substrate.

• When wallpapering dark wallpapers, the result is best if the walls are primed
with base color broken in the same shade as the wallpaper.

• When installing, the paper roll must be facing up so that the wallpaper will be in the right direction.


• Make sure the edges are well glued but not so runny that glue pushes out when set up.
Best results are given with a glue machine*.

• The water is carefully folded together and then rolled up and allowed to swell for about 5 minutes.
Do not fold so that pinch creases occur and do not stack several adhesive-heavy sheets on top of each other.

• The waders are placed edge to edge. Use a wallpaper brush and iron the fabric from the middle
out to the sides. If glue has nevertheless come out on the front, it is immediately removed with a clean cloth
water and a clean cloth, it is then important to dry the entire garment.

• After setting 2-3 risks, the result must be checked to detect any
color differences or other errors.

• Gaps in the joints, raised edges or blistering are not due to faults in the wallpaper, but have
with substrate, amount of glue and setting to do.

• When cleaning the wallpaper, use a clean sponge and lukewarm water.

• Note! Never close a newly wallpapered room, but ventilate and maintain normal room temperature.

• In case of doubt regarding material or set-up - cancel immediately and contact the dealer. In the event of a complaint, the roll label must be attached.

* A simple and easy-to-maintain device that can be rented in well-stocked wallpaper stores. (Some glues are adapted to glue machines.)
